MORE PRECIOUS THAN RUBIES stamp set
This set has a beautiful and versatile floral image and a quote sentiment.
I colored the image with Copic markers ...
stamped the sentiment and die cut the piece with a stitched rectangle die.
I chose metallic card stock colors that complemented the image colors

The foil card stock was ideal for this colored image, I think.
I love both the glossy shine...and the frosty matte shimmer.

And...
because I was loving creating cards with the MORE THAN RUBIES stamp set...
I decided to create a third card.

I find it amusing that now....I have a set a the bathroom vanity drawer...

Your cards are all so gorgeous and I love the floral image used on them. They remind me of Spring.
ReplyDeleteThanks Verna!

I think that you're going to love their style!
Beautiful stamps and beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch Lisha!
DeleteGorgeous stamp set. The scripty sentiment is perfect for that floral image. I'm anxious to see the rest of the release. Oh, the make up brushes are great! Why people are spending way to much money for the identical brushes in the craft stores amazes me..$10 for 10 brushes vs. $50 from a craft website. I bought those expensive brushes and the $10 brushes to compare them. They were exactly the same..obviously, I returned the expensive ones. Thanks for sharing your talent. Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteAnd yes...the $10 brush sets!...they're wonderful!
I think your flower cards are some of your best work. (Am I in the minority of fans who prefer the flower cards without any sentiments or words? I find (for me) that I can use them for just about any occasion - birthday/sympathy/ thank you) ? Absolutely love your work (AS YOU KNOW MISHY)!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much John...
DeleteYou're always so kind and generous with your comments
I love your cards, especially the shading of the otherwise plain area. It adds so much to the card, without adding any extra bulk/weight. Our post office is SUPER picky about the thickness of mail. They’ll make me pay extra postage, if they feel a bump, even if it’s just the knot on a bow! This is especially frustrating, because I know not all post offices do this!
ReplyDeleteDiane....I love to layer paper and mat paper layers...The bulk in my cards comes from the layers...not necessarily embellishments (Which I rarely use)...
DeleteOut post office clerk often puts my cards through a little slotted template to check the thickness...most times.....so far...my cards have made the cut...lol
Those makeup brushes work so well! I got a set a few months back, and was amazed! Love these cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch Lynn!
DeleteI LOVE the brushes too...
WOW BEAUTIFUL CARDS!! Makeup brushes very interesting technique! I love it! I also love the sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Cindy!
DeleteThe brushes are fantastic for applying and blending ink...
It’s so inspiring what you can do with ink and with embossing. I envy your creativeness!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie!
DeleteBUT....I know for a fact that you've knocked my socks off many times with your scrapbooking and Cricut projects!...which, I think... makes us even in the envy department! ;)
