And now...
it's time to share some cards with you!
Today's cards were created with a new release stamp set called CONE FLOWERS.
I chose to color both images with Copic markers.
The first card was created using one of my favorite color combos...
With blue and green tones.
The larger green mat layer was embossed with a floral embossing folder...

I chose to color both images with Copic markers.
The first card was created using one of my favorite color combos...
With blue and green tones.
The larger green mat layer was embossed with a floral embossing folder...
to add some texture to the card,
The image layer was matted in a deep turquoise color.
No colored card stock...no print paper...
Just some white card stock..and some black ink...
and a stamp set, of course!
I used the floral image to create a background print
on the largest piece of white card stock.
I colored those stamped images with 2 Copic marker colors...
Rose red for the flower petals..and a taupe color for the leaves
AKA...basic one layer coloring..
AKA...no color blending.
CONE FLOWERS is a fantastic stamp set for those who love floral images..
and it's also great for those who want to do some coloring..
but shy away from images that have lots of small details.
While there's lots of beautiful detail in the floral image...
they're not tiny...and tedious to color.
CONE FLOWERS is definitely worthy of a spot
on your Blue Knight NEW RELEASE WISH LIST...
Don't you agree?

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow...
and hope that you liked today's cards...
as much as I enjoyed creating them!
Michelle.
The image layer was matted in a deep turquoise color.
Sometimes...adding texture to a card is the perfect addition.
The second card was lots of fun to create...
This was truly a "start with a blank slate" kind of card.No colored card stock...no print paper...
Just some white card stock..and some black ink...
and a stamp set, of course!
I used the floral image to create a background print

Rose red for the flower petals..and a taupe color for the leaves
AKA...basic one layer coloring..
AKA...no color blending.
I stamped the sentiment...and double matted it..
Pulling it all together with the rose red color for one of the mat layers
This card speaks to my little CAS card lovin' heart.
