Blue Knight Rubber Stamps New Release Sneak-Peek Week an Giveaway ~ Day #6

Hello Hello
Welcome to Day #6 of
Blue Knight Rubber Stamps New Release Sneak-Peek and Giveaway Week
here at my blog!

What a great week it's been
and what a great time I've had creating cards
with a great assortment of soon-to-be-released floral stamp sets.
(Yes!....Blue Knight's new release will be happening on Sunday...
That's just 2 days away!

In the meantime...
we have some things to do here at my blog.

Me:
I've got one more stamp set to share with you (today)
I've got to share a re-cap of the weeks cards (tomorrow)
and on Sunday morning...
I need to randomly pick...and announce the 2 winners of the GIVEAWAY

And....
YOU:
You need to leave a comment at each blog post
(last Sunday through to tomorrow's re-cap blog post)
And..
You need to get your wish list in order for release day!

And...
WE:
Right now.
we need to take a peek at the cards that I've created
with another new release stamp set.... CORNER FLOWERS.

I have 2 cards to share today...
Each created with one of the 2 corner floral stamps
that are part of the CORNER FLOWERS stamp set...
and they're very different from one another!

Those of you who love to ink will love the first card I think...
and I'm thinking that
Those of you who love to color with alcohol markers
and prefer a crisp clean CAS look...will love the second card.
I created the first card by stamping the corner floral image
over a blended inked background that I created with a few Distress Oxide ink colors
that were spritzed with water to bring out their reactive qualities
to create the spotting that you see.
I added color (also Distress Oxide ink) to the image as well..
I inked a second piece of card stock and spritzed it as well..
to use for the sentiment piece.
Next I inked 2 more pieces of card stock with a green toned ink...
..one large and one small.
One for the largest mat layer
and...one to mat the sentiment piece.
When all of the pieces were inked and spritzed and cut to size...
I assembled the card
I added  2 very narrow black mat layers

Here's a close-up of the inked and spritzed card front
and inked mat layers.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this look
and I LOVE LOVE LOVE creating cards
that allow me the opportunity to do some ink blending
and create cards like this one.

 For the second card...
I stamped the other corner floral image from the stamp set
in the lower corner of what would become the  card font,
I colored the image with Copic markers
and added a sentiment from Blue Knight's BIRTHDAY WISHES stamp set.
I chose an orange toned print with tiny dots as the largest mat layer.
Next...I matted the image piece with green metallic card stock
and assembled the card

I love the clean crisp bright look of this card

Well....This is where I say....
WOW
What a fun week for me...
creating cards with so many of Blue Knight Rubber Stamps
awesome soon- to- be- released stamps.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope that you've found some inspiration here...and have taken it with you
to create cards of your own.

I hope that you'll join me here tomorrow for a re-cap
of the entire collection of
the week's sneak-peek cards.

Have a fabulous Friday, my friends!
Michelle.
PS...Don't forget to leave a comment under each of this weeks blog posts
for lots of GIVEAWAY entries.
