It's Wednesday!
and...
that means that it's Crafter's Companion Design Team day here at my blog!
and...
that also means that it's Christmas in July here at the Bellissima Cards blog!
and...
that means that on each of the following 4 Wednesdays...
my Crafter's Companion Design Team project will be all about Christmas!
There's no better way to bring a little bit of Christmas to you
than with this snowy country scene!
Sheena Douglass' Farmhouse Christmas is a beautifully detailed, wintry scene...
and is ideal for water coloring with Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils.
The AquaBlend pencils make color shading a cinch...
I'll never stop being amazed at how a wet paintbrush creates color magic...
when touched to pencil coloring on paper...
and you watch the color on the paper become fluid.
To create the card...
The image was stamped using waterproof ink
onto Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Water Colour Card Stock.
The mat layer and base card are both Crafter's Companion Shimmering Card Stock
(Details are noted below..in the supply list...at the end of this blog post)
A Wintry Christmas scene wouldn't be complete without some glistening snow..
and so I added some sparkle
with my Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen
Here's a close-up ...
Isn't the sparkle fantastic?!
You can also see the shading and blending of colors on the farmhouse nicely in this photo.
is in the spotlight today... Week one of my Christmas in July projects.
and
I've got 3 more Wednesdays of Christmas to share with you...

This is beautiful Michelle, might have to invest in those pencils, I have the s n pencils and don't get on that we'll with them, even with the blending solution and go back to watercolouring with distress inks.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great challenge too, I always leave my special family cards til last(in case I get a better idea or stamp) so may get them started earlier by having a plan 😊 thanks for the inspiration xx
I wander why this has posted twice....
