(Yes!..I've got daily giveaways for you...so be sure to post a comment below to be in on the giveaways!..If you missed commenting on the prior Monday - Thursday blog posts...you can still post comments under each of the posts on those days..to be in on those giveaways.)

Now let's talk about today's stamps...and cards...
I don't think that I have to tell you that I have thoroughly enjoyed creating each and very card that I shared with you this week. Catherine's designs always make my crafty little heart skip a beat...and this week's collection of her stamps did that and more ...each and every day.

Today, I'm sharing a few cards with you...created with 2 different stamp sets

       Chocolate Candies           and          Fancy Pastry

*You can find both of today's featured stamps at the ART GONE WILD web site HERE

And now...
Today's cards!
(I'm excited to share them with you!)
WARNING: You will want to indulge in having something sweet after seeing today's cards

First up... Chocolate Candies

When I sat down to color this image with Copics, I was already loving the details that Catherine has on on each chocolate piece and the strawberries. (And ...I hoped that I could do this image justice with my coloring)
I started by coloring the larger image  first...the chocolates
Next, I colored the strawberries and  cut them out with super tiny detail scissors.
(I knew that I wanted to add some dimension to this card by stamping the strawberries separately and positioning them with fun foam to elevate them a bit)
I die cut the chocolates piece with a mini scalloped rectangle die, using fun foam t position it on the card front.
I chose chocolate brown card stock and red glitter paper as the matting layers.
I also went over the chocolate details (Sprinkles...icing...flowers etc) with clear Wink of Stella...I did the same on the chocolate covered strawberries.
That little bit of shimmer on the colored image element together with the glitter paper give this card the little bit of sparkle and zing that I had wanted.

You can see the dimension that I created by positioning both the scalloped image piece and the strawberries with fun foam.

Next up....I've got another delicious card to share with you today...
with the FANCY PASTRY stamp.

I love  to color when creating cards...
Copic coloring and water coloring are probably my two faves

I chose o color this image with Copics...and was excited to get started because the image affords the opportunity to use various colors and to do lots of blending.
I colored the image and then die cut it with the same mini scallop die that I used for the first card, above.
This time, after die cutting the image piece, I left the piece in the die and used he die as a stencil for add some light inking to the background with Ken Oliver Stencil Brushes.
For this card I chose chocolate brown glitter paper and a deep red card stock for matting.
I positioned the image piece with fun foam for added dimension.

I just love all of Catherine's  art and her attention to detail.
For me, the card making person...images like this are a joy to work with...to color..to create with.
