I've had Lawn Fawn's Little Turkey Day stamp and die duo for quite a while...
and thought that it was time to ink it up to create a Thanksgiving card.
I matched it up with a die set of leaves, by Impression Obsession
to create this card.
While the oval die cut was still in the die...
I applied some color with Clarity Stencil Brushes to create the background
using the metal die as a stencil.
I also used the brushes and some Autumn-like ink colors...on a small piece of white card stock...
to create the "paper" for the leaf die cuts
I chose a few Autumn prints and matted the plaid print on brown metallic card stock.
The turkey was colored with Spectrum Alcohol markers...and postponed with foam dimensionals.
When the leaves were in place..I brushed them with some clear Wink of Stella
Here's a close up...
That turkey is so cute!
and I love the prints...
especially the apples, pumpkins and squash print.
About this stamp set:
As the saying goes...
"Good things come in small packages"
The perfect saying for this little stamp set.
It was fun to create a card with...
It has the basics..
a great little image
and a simple sentiment.
The perfect combination for a nice card!
Thanks for visiting!
Have a wonderful Sunday, my crafty friends!
Michelle.
