I spent the entire day..and evening
in the studio working on floral cards....
for a friend...
I did lots of water coloring...
Hydrangeas, mostly...
and then I decided to ink the Stampin Up Flowering Fields stamp set up for the first time.
This is what I whipped up
I did a little bit of coloring with my Stampin Up markers...
After I colored the image
I passed it, and the sentiment card stock...
through the Big Shot to emboss it
(I love texture on a card)
Then...added a little bit of Wink of Stella on the blooms
and
I added a few sequins here and there...
I used the Marsupial ("JIG") Layering Tool (of course!) for all of the paper layering/matting
The pretty prints are from a DCWV Special Edition paper pad
You can see the embossing more in this photo
and
some sheer, shimmery dotted ribbon under the sentiment
Look at that matting!
Perfect every time..
Thanks to the JIG!
If you'd like to order the JIG you can get it HERE at Marsupial Pouches & Papers
