Hello my crafty and creative friends!

All created with gorgeous Catherine Scanlon Designs stamps
And...
I'n happy and excited to share a Giveaway with you as well!
*PLEASE NOTE: I am not affiliated with Catherine Scanlon Designs...
or Art Gone Wild (.com).,..or any other vendor or company noted in this blog.
I gain nothing financially or otherwise for anything that I share here this week
with regards to Catherine Scanlon stamps and/or Art Gone Wild or any other company mentioned.
I am simply a card maker...like you...
who enjoys sharing ...
and gets excited to share things that I really love
and think that others who create cards might like to know a little bit about.
In other words...I am a bonafide..Class A...shameless...ENABLER!
Now....onto this week..and how it came to be...
I'll give you some info as to how the week turned into "Catherine Scanlon Week"
Last week I went through the drawer in my studio designated for Catherine's stamps.
I thought that I'd pull out one...or two stamps...
to create a few cards.
As I began going through the drawer...I found it difficult to choose just 1...or 2...
When I was finished browsing through my Catherine Scanlon collection of stamps...
I had 7 stamps on the studio worktable
and I was excited to create cards with each of them.
I spent 2 days water coloring...
one day trimming...cutting...choosing mat and print paper for each image...
and choosing sentiments.
After everything was prepped and ready to go...
I created cards.
In the end...I had 20 cards...all water colored...and created with the 7 different stamps.
That's just too many cards to share in one blog post...
So I decided to break each days posting down to one specific stamp.
As always..I create in multiples...
"Similar...but different"...as I always tell you.
I enjoy using one stamp to create a few cards that may have similar sketches...
but have different color palettes.....and sentiments etc.

At the end of the 6 days of Cards Created with Catherine Scanlon Designs

So be sure to come back each day...to post a comment.
ON THE LAST DAY...
I'll post new cards...
and will also recap each of the 7 stamps that I used over the course of the week.
A few days later...ON JULY 14th...I'll announce the WINNER/WINNERS
(randomly chosen)
here on the Bellissima Cards blog
Please feel free to share the blog link & giveaway info (Facebook etc)
BUT...most of all...be sure to post a comment each day
so that you'll be "in-it-to-win-it"!
So...now..Lets get started with myCatherine Scanlon Week of Cards!
Day 1...
Today's cards were created with Catherine Scanlon Designs stamp: BLOSSOM IN BLOOM
(Available Here: Catherine Scanlon Designs at Art Gone Wild
I use lots of LCI Metallic card stock for almost all of the matting...
and an assortment of sentiments by different companies.
For today's cards..
Each image was stamped with Versamark ink...
then heat embossed with Sparkle n Sprinkle Embossing Powder...
3 with gold...1 with white
I wanted muted soft colors for 2 cards and blurred...non defined painting lines...
(I wanted blurred color extending beyond the image)
I applied chosen colors of Distress ink(s) to the image and background with a small dauber...
then water-misted the entire image
I wanted the same soft muted...out of the lines look for the second card
I went with a pink that was a bit brighter for this card
I stamped then head cut and matted each of the sentiment banners...
something that I usually do for sentiments...
(even though I have a bunch of banner dies...haha)
This third image was water colored...using a combination of Altenew Ink pads...
and Kuretake ZIG Markers.
I applied the color by picking it up from a ceramic tile with a wet paint brush
The background was created the same way....
With ink...water and a paint brush.
I heat embossed the last of today's cards with white embossing powder
to achieve a bright ...crisp ...clean ...precise look.
I liked that the white embossing gave that look to this card...
exactly as I envisioned it to be.
I used Zig markers to color this image
and Altenew ink pads to create the background.
Blossom in Bloom is a great stamp set, I think..
It has a nice assortment of stamps....and the images are casual and fun!
I used the largest stamp for today's cards.
Next time ..I think that I'm going to create a few cards with the medium sized stamp..
The one on the right that has the flower trio.
I hope that you found a little bit of inspiration here today.
An I'll hope that you visit each day to see the other cards that I've created
with Catherine Scanlon Designs stamps
and that I have lined up to share with you this coming week.
Thanks so much for visiting today..
See you tomorrow!
