Tillie in Blue and Purple

If you visit my blog regularly

you know all about me and my current stack of 145 colored images.

I am having THE BEST TIME browsing through that stack 

and choosing images to create cards with.

Most of the images were stamped out in multiples

(because I almost always create cards in multiples)

Sometimes I color them identically..

and sometimes I color each one with different colors.

Today I am sharing 2 cards...

both created with the main image from Scruffy Little Kitten's Tillie stamp set.

One in blue...one in purple.

First up....Tillie in blue....

I've always loved using blue and green together..

so that's what I went with for this card.

The image was colored with Copic markers.

Background color was added with Clarity Stencil Brushes and ink pads.

I used green metallic card stock for the matting...

and a dotted print paper in blue.

I hand cut the sentiment banner and double matted it

with the dotted paper and green metallic card stock.

The matted image was positioned with fun foam for a nice solid firm lift 

and added dimension

Tillie is a cutie...

don't you agree?

I also colored a Tillie image in purple...

I love dotted paper.....small dots.....not big polka dots.

I have a huge hoard of dotted paper in lots of colors.

The blackberry/purple was perfect for this card, I think.

For this card...I chose to double mat the image with blackberry card stock

and white metallic card stock

I also matted the dotted print with white metallic card stock.

Like the blue version..this image layer was positioned with fun foam. 

I'm not a big purple lover...

but the deep blackberry/purple colors on this card are great, I think.

I have a few more Scruffy Little Kitten images in my stack of colored images

and they're next on the card making list.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

I wasn't sure I'd like the Scruffy Little Kitten images...

But...I purchased them via a 75% off sale and figured...

what the heck....the price is fantastic...

I'll give them a try.

And guess what?

I am really liking them

I might even  be feeling some love for them!

So now...the BIG question...

Which do you like best?

Blue?...or...Purple?
