Sweet Little Bella and Her Balloons

Although I've been packed...un-packed....
settled in
and enjoying my new studio for almost 8 months...
Every so often...I find myself coming across a bin...or box...or bag
that has some card making "things" that I packed away...or purchased...
and that have never made their way into the studio.

Last week I opened this very small brown bag...
and found a new...and very adorable little wood mount stamp!
Poppy Stamps....Bella Balloon

I am thinking that I purchased this stamp a VERY longggg time ago...
because I haven't bought wood mount stamps in ages...
As soon as I saw it...
I knew that I liked it...
and also knew...in my mind...
what I wanted to do with it.

I took it out of the bag...
and left it on the studio worktable...
as a reminder...to myself...to create a card with it.

So.....
that's what did last night!

Lately...I have been wanting to create some very simple...primarily white cards
....with a pop of color
This stamp seemed perfect for that idea.
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir (Alcohol) markers...
matched the mat to the teal-like color that I chose for the image.
I added a few clear droplets...
and wha-la...
a card!

Bella is simply TOO CUTE!
How did I ever forget that I had this stamp?
(and now....I am wondering what other Bella images may exist that I am not familiar with...????)
and...
how many might I "need"???

Thanks for visiting, my crafty friends ....
wishing you a wonderful and creative day!
Michelle.
