Working My Way Through a Stack of New Catherine Scanlon Stamps

I've been working my way through a stack of fairly new-to-me Catherine Scanlon Designs stamps...
I've had my eye on them for a long time now...
and finally...I ordered all of them....about 3 weeks ago
It's been fun going into my studio..and browsing through the stack..
and deciding which stamp I'd like to create a card with
on that particular day.
I haven't even put them away...
I keep the out on the worktable..
where they'll stay...
until I've used each and every one...at least once...

"Sunny Strawberries" was my choice for my next "Catherine card".
Water colored....
or course!
(The style of Catherine Scanlon's designs are perfect for water coloring)

I heat embossed the image with black Sparkle N Sprinkle fine detail embossing powder...
and then enjoyed adding color with my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers
to bring this image to life.

This is another great Catherine Scanlon stamp...
one that I enjoyed creating a card with.
I love the casual style of her sketches.
(PS...The sentiment is from another stamp set by Power Poppy)

If you like this image/card...
and you're not familiar with Catherine Scanlon's designs
take a look at them on line...
they're unique...and they're fantastic!

Thanks for visiting ...
Michelle.

Card loving friends.....this beautiful sunshiny water colored strawberry card is now available at The Bellissima Card Shop

Card making friends...the supply list is a cinch....
The stamp....(name noted at the beginning of this blog post....Crafter's Companion Water Color Card Stock.....PTI card stock for the base card....LCI Metallic card stock (red) for the mat layer.....Spectrum Noir Aqua water color markers...fine detail embossing powder (black)...Versamark ink...a heat gun...paint brushes...and that's it!

  3. Catherine's stamps are so beautiful and that's a fabulous card you have made with the strawberries Michelle. Art Gone Wild were good enough to send me a whole batch of Catherine Scanlon stamps here in the uk after I saved all my pocket money!! I hope someone in the UK starts to stock them soon so I don't have to spend so much on horrid customs charges! I hope there are some more stamps in the pipeline Catherine, and I'm off to see the rest of your blog Michelle. I really like your style x
