Happy World Card Making Day!

Yes!..Today is the official worldwide day to celebrate card making 

(although, around my studio...it's always "Card Making Day"!)

and even though it's not my usual Design Team blog post day...

I've got a Surprise Crafter's Companion Inspiration Design Team blogpost!

So here we go...

I've got a die cut card to share today!

 I Don't think that I've ever created a card specifically for a 25th wedding anniversary...

so I thought that it was about time that I did!

I chose to create this card with the traditional 25th anniversary color...silver...

The card base mat layers...champagne glasses and the numbers were all created with

 Crafter's Companion Shimmering Card Stock.

The silver mat layer was embossed with the Downton Damask Embossing Folder.

I used the same embossing folder to emboss the vellum strip behind the "25"

The champagne bubbles that were embossed on the glasses when the pieces were die cut, are embellished with rhinestones

(I placed a rhinestone on each embossed bubble)

I stamped a simple "Happy Anniversary" sentiment on the inside of the card.

*The champagne glasses and numbers were positioned with foam dimensionals.

This was a fun card to create...

and one that I will definitely create again in the future...

for all sorts of celebrations!

It's can easily be customized by changing the numbers....and/or the stamped sentiment.
