A Little of This...and a Little of That...

I spent some time in my studio last night....
doing a much needed re-sorting and re-organizing of my stamps...
AGAIN!
It seems like every few months I NEED to do that.
I had about 75 new stamp sets that needed to find their way
into the drawer that holds their particular category of stamps.

Whenever I do that...it's and opportunity to purge and get rid of...
and it's also like taking a walk down memory lane..
looking at older stamps sets that I hold on to...because I love them.

Whenever I do a tidying up...
I also pull out sets that catch my eye...
and place them on the studio work table...
as a reminder that I'd like to create a card with them.

Last night..I pulled out a few Halloween sets...
and as soon as the tidying was done...
I sat down to enjoy some card making.

I have an O L D Inkadinkado stamp set called Ghouls & Goblins that I picked up at some crazy sale MANY years ago...
THAT set was THE set that I chose to create a card with last night.
I also used a few small stamps from the Crazy Dogs/Cats/Birds Accessory stamp sets...
and a bat die to complete the card.
(Sorry, I don't remember who makes the bat die)
I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers ...
and created the background with  ink pads and Clarity Stencil Brushes.

Look at these guys!!
They are cuteness to the max!
They're costumes make me smile.
and...
what else would a trick or treating cat and dog have in their trick or treat jack-o-lantern??
A fish bone...
and a dog bone...
of course!

Here's a close-up...
I added the background color with Clarity Stencil brushes..
using a green Neon Ink pad and a purple Neon ink pad...
as well as a Stampin Up yellow ink pad.
The Trick or treat sentiment is part of the Inkadinkado stamp set.
(their costumes with their eyes peeking out crack me up)

I love it when I finish a card that makes me smile...
THIS card was one of those cards.
I haven't put the stamp set away yet...
I left it out..
on the corner of the studio worktable..
because I am thinking that I just might HAVE to make a few more of this card!

Have a wonderful Saturday, my crafty & creative friends!
And thanks for visiting!
Michelle.
